The EMS Program's goal is to prepare competent entry-level Emergency Medical Technicians in the cognitive knowledge , psychomotor skills , and affective behavior learning domains. Within 14 days of successful completion of all components of the EMT program, the student will be issued a Certificate of Completion.
For student success and employment data, see the Program Effectiveness section below. An EMT is a professional who delivers basic life support care. The course presents the fundamentals of emergency medical care and for performing basic life support procedures.
